As I read blogs about about how the U.S. was wrong for going to Iraq and how we didnt have proof of this or that I wonder. Do people really think that Sadam wasn't training terrorist? Was it okay that he was paying people to strap bombs on and go into Isreal to kill civilians? And what about the Kurds he was trying to wipe off the face of the earth? Not our problem? Wasn't our problem when Hitler invaded Poland was it. And so what if we have been in Iraq for 5 years we were in Okinawa Japan for 27 years after we won that war. Was that a bad thing because I don't hear any complaints about that. Creating a safe and free place for people to live will be viewed by history as a good thing every time. But in politics by short sided people it is always a bad thing. Antiwar demonstrations kept the U.S. out of WWII until we were attacked. Were they rite? Can you turn a blind eye to the rest of the world and be safe? The U.S. is A very young country and a very rich country blamed for everyone else's failures. Muslims were around long before the U.S. was ever thought of and they were blaming someone else for their problems then as they do now. Why should we appoligize for being smart enough to create an economy that allows us to thrive when they have had the same chance to do this for thousands of years and instead they choose to kill anyone who is succesful. Ok so we are at the top of the food chain and we make mistakes. Everyone gets to throw political stones at us but they should remember always we are at the op of the food chain. If you poke a lion with a stick he may over react but but you won't be around to tell him he was wrong.
